OFFCenter
enhances the efforts of low-income artists who want to use their
skills to generate financial support for themselves. The studio/shop/gallery
environment provides many opportunities for artists to improve their
skills and gain experience in areas that will help them promote
and sell their art work. Group workshops and individualized training
are available.
- 86 OFFCenter artists are represented in the OC shop.
- At least 20 OC artists sell their work in other public
galleries.
- OFFCenter has expanded its sales opportunities to include
the OC shop and gallery, the growers market, crafts fairs
and privately commissioned work.
- In addition to the focus on economic development for individual
artists, OFFCenter is working to expand income producing projects
to benefit the organization.
