This workshop will cover the basics of hand embroidery, including planning and preparing a project, several basic stitches, and finishing either a hoop for display or an embroidery piece on an item of clothing. Participants will sketch or trace a simple design of their choice (we will also have a few ready to go for those who prefer more structure), stitch an outline, stitch the fill, and add simple embellishments.
Materials provided but if you want to embroider an item of clothing, please bring it in on the day of class!
