This mixed media jewelry class is led by OffCenter featured gallery artist Ruth Meredith. In this class participants will combine different materials to make a wearable piece of art. All materials provided, but feel free to bring any extra materials you might want to incorporate.
Ruth Meredith statement: “I have been an artist since I was a child. I started creating jewelry because making a work of art that I could wear was a fun way to advertise my creativity. Making small assemblages from found objects and parking lot debris allows me to play with materials I found and collected. So, I started creating pins I call ‘trash fairies’. ”
