Halloween Props Workshop
Please come join us for a class all about making props or attachments for your Halloween costume using scraps, junk, jewelry, paper mache and more. Perhaps a parrot to put on the shoulder of your pirate costume, or a helmet for your astronaut costume? Bring any costume parts you’d like to work on, or come with inspiration and scour the studio for the perfect materials! While you are welcome to sew during this workshop, there will be no sewing instruction; if you need sewing help for your costume you may need to attend Open Sew on Wednesday evenings from 6-8pm instead.
No experience necessary.
Tuesday, October 14, 5-8pm
At OffCenter Community Arts Project, 808 Park Ave SW, ABQ.
Tiered pricing: Free $0 / Base $15 / Core $30 / Supporter $60

Refund Policy: All of our classes have limited capacity and often sell out. Please let us know if you are unable to attend a class you’ve registered for so we can open up the spot for someone else. If you would like a refund for your class registration fee, you must let us know at least 48 hours ahead of the class start time. Cancellations received within 48 hours or less of class start times are not eligible for refunds, but your class fee can be transferred to a future class registration instead. If you have questions about your class registration, or to request a refund or class transfer, please call, email, or talk to staff in person at OffCenter during Open Studio hours.
Why are there multiple prices? All of our classes are offered at a sliding scale, with a free option available to anyone that requests it. When possible, we make the base option available in order to partly cover the cost of the class. The core price is the "true" cost of the class OffCenter needs to cover paying our teachers and providing supplies and materials. If you are able to support at a higher level, paying the supporter price helps ensure we're able to continue offering a variety of classes and keep free spaces open for anyone that needs.
There are a limited number of free spots available online. If these are sold out, please email, call, or drop by the studio to sign up! Email info@offcenterarts.org.
